Traditional Food

The only exhibition unit presents household inventory from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century used for cooking in the traditional peasant Transylvanian household: stone griddle (test) for baking the bread (1), stone plate for making pies (2), cast-iron kettle (3) for cooking at the open hearth, pan used in the same context (4), platter for maize porridge (5), cal pentru vatra for supporting the logs and the pots (6), poker (7, vatrai), an industrial inter-war mill for crushing (8), wooden plates (9), knife, various spoons, grate, point tools for dough, shovel for flour and knife for dough (10). In the last side of the unit there is presented the way of drying and storing the clay pots cleaned by washing: in pripilic (11).

Ethnographic Park "Romulus Vuia": 1st of May - 31st of October: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (last entry 4 p.m.), Monday closed. The Park is closed between 1st of November and 30th of April.
