Wood processing
Hydraulic saw - Botiza, Maramures County, end of XIX th century
It is completely automatic, the system being formed by a wood lever drive that transforms the linear move of the saw frame into a circular one that makes the trunk be pulled towards the saw.
Wheeler's shop - Ieud, Maramures, end of XIX th century
Exhibits all the traditional tools of in a wheeler's shop (wood wheels for means of transport). The workshop is housed in a pantry, unicellular, with verandah on three sides.
House of the wooden vessels maker - Vidra, (Apuseni Mountains), middle of XIX th century
Advanced type of the house with pantry, characteristic for Moti Country where the main occupation was wood processing (making the wooden vessels, used for barter with cereals from the plain areas).

Metal processing and peasant mining
Gold Stamp - Bucium, (Alba County), end of XIX th century
In use till 1948 for getting gold from the gold ore.
Smith's shop - Varzari (Bihor County), end of XIX th century
Peasant workshop where traditional tools were processed.
Smith's shop - Rimetea (Alba County), end of XIXth century
Brought from a (Hungarian) center specialized in iron processing. Hydraulic installation with two wheels acting upon the bellows and respectively upon the hammer.

Wool fabric processing
Felting Mill with "maiuri" - Gladna Româna, Timis County, XIX th century
This installation was used for thickening the wool fabrics for costumes and textiles.
Felting Mill with hammers - Budureasa, Bihor County, XIX th century
The installations has hammers with a higher mobility than the "maiuri" of the felting mill from Gladna Romana.
Felting Mill with hammers and Whirlpool - Zagra, Bistrita-Nasaud County, XIX th century
Together with the installation for thickening the wool fabrics, there is also a whirlpool used for thickening and teasing the woolen blankets and for washing the clothes.

House-workshop and "stogar" - Almaşu Mare (Alba County), XVIIIth century
- historical monument (due to the oldness and the planimetry) with entrance hall, living room, pantry and front side verandah
- the stonecutter's tools are exhibited in the hall
