22 August: a day packed with events at the ‘Romulus Vuia’ National Ethnographic Park 

On Saturday, 22 August, the ‘Romulus Vuia’ National Ethnographic Park in Hoia Forest will host a series of activities for all ages, organised by several local associations and institutions.

10.00 am – The day kicks off with the Donaton Cross-Country Run, now in its eighth edition, organised by the Orosz Foundation, the Clujul Comoară Association and the Rupicapra Mountain Sports Club. Participants must register in advance on donaton.ro, and starter packs can be collected on the day before the competition, Friday, between 15:00 and 20:00, from the information stand in Piața Unirii.

During the same time slot, from 10.00 to 15.00, children are invited to take part in craft workshops for children, run by ANYÓ and GRUND and organised by the Argumentum Nostrum Association, held within the ethnographic park itself. Also from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm, the public is invited to take part in the activity ‘Fun with Dogs: Adventure, Play and Four-legged Friends’, an interactive session featuring the trained and experienced dogs from the Maltese Rescue Service programme.

11.00 am – The day’s programme continues with an open-air cooking session, organised by the Clujul Comoară Association and the ZCMC Association, running until 3.00 pm. Anyone interested in taking part can register in advance at gasztro@magyarnapok.ro.

All events take place at the “Romulus Vuia” National Ethnographic Park, offering visitors a day packed with a varied programme: sport, tradition, children’s activities and fun in the great outdoors.
