The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution that operates under the authority of the Cluj County Council, in collaboration with the University of Pitești and the Historia Renascita Association from Argeș, invite you on Thursday, February 16th 2023, from 4 p.m., to two conferences and a book presentation.
Those present will have the opportunity to listen to presentations related to the Phanariot era and about the Arnăut mercenaries, as well as a book presentation about the Arnăut mercenaries in the service of the Phanariot lords from the Romanian Lands (1709-1821). The following will present:
assoc. prof. habil. Claudiu-Ion Neagoe (University of Pitești, “Gheorghe I. Brătianu” Historical, Archaeological and Heritage Research Centre) and prof. Cătălin Drăghici (Historia Renascita Association from Argeș).
The event will take place in the Reduta hall of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography (21, Memorandum street).
