The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, public cultural institution functioning under the authority of the Cluj County Council, in collaboration with the Institute for the Investigation of the Communist Crimes and the Memory of the Romanian Exile invite you on Thursday, May 26th 2022, from 5 p.m., to the release of Nicoleta Șerban’s volume “România 1988-1989. The free world in the defense of the Romanian villages. Opération Villages Roumains” (issued by Mega publishing house).
Presentation: dr. Manuela Marin (the “George Barițiu” History Institute, the Romanian Academy – Cluj-Napoca branch. Invited speakers: Leontin Iuhas (“Doina Cornea” Foundation), Francisc Giurgiu (President of “Opération Villages Roumains” Romania), Liana Negruțiu, Eugen Pop (“Opération Villages Roumains” Romania).
The event will take place at the institution’s main building on 21, Memo street.
