As every year, the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution operating under the authority of the Cluj County Council, together with the Brickenburg Association are pleased to invite you, on October 5-10, to the traditional Brickenburg Exhibition, “Ethnologia Galactica” (“Galactic Ethnology”) dedicated not only to the LEGO (R) system fans, but also to all those curious to explore attractive universes built from the famous bricks or captured by photographers.
Constructions of impressive or modest dimensions, but of an admirable complexity, made of the well-known pieces or works in the field of Toy Photo, made by members of the Brickenburg LUGs - Romania, LEBGO - Bulgaria and Les Briques en Folie - France, will offer the public imaginary trips addressing all ages.
The works present in the exhibition cover a wide range of construction styles and themes, their subjects starting from the Jurassic period, covering the contemporary age, reaching the space age and exploring various fantastic worlds.
The exhibition “Ethnologia Galactica” - Brickenburg Autumn Exhibition, organized by the Brickenburg Association in cooperation with the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography is included in the official calendar of events organized by LEGO (R) Users Groups recognized at ambassador level, and it’s one of the most important genre events in Europe.
The exhibition can be visited in compliance with the especially enacted norms for the alert status, the period, the schedule and the visiting rules can be modified according to the incident normative acts.
