In close collaboration with the “Gheorghe Dima” National Music Academy, our museum is hosting the 3rd edition of the “Dance Days” Festival, a festival dedicated to the art of dance.
The event format will be that of an open traditional peasant dance class. All those who want to know a small part of the intangible cultural heritage of Romanians and Hungarians are invited to participate.
After an introduction to dance music by ethno-musicologist Adrian Balla from Timișoara, the event’s program will include traditional dances from Târnave, Meșeș, the Transylvanian Plain, Călata and Bukovina areas.
The event will take place on April 26, 2024, at 3 p.m. in the Reduta hall of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, 21, Memorandum street, Cluj-Napoca.
The entry is free.
