The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution that operates under the authority of the Cluj County Council, in partnership with the "Iuliu Hațieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Cluj-Napoca Branch of the Romanian Academy, and the Romanian Academy of Scientists – the Cluj Transilvania Leaders Branch, invite you on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, between 6-8 p.m., to Gala 219. Medicine, Art, Culture.
The program will include two lectures: “Emmanuel de Martonne and Romania - A friendship in the name of science” by Prof. Dănuț Petrea (UBB Cluj-Napoca) and “National Parks from the State of Utah” by Assoc. prof. Florin Moldovan (UBB Cluj-Napoca). The event will also include a French-Romanian bilingual exhibition 1921-2021: The centenary of the great trips of the geographer Emmanuel de Martonne throughout Romania. Event moderator: Prof. Nicolae Hâncu (h.m. of the Romanian Academy).
The event will take place in the Reduta Hall of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography (21, Memorandum street).
