The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution that operates under the authority of the Cluj County Council, together with the TIFF film festival and the Transylvanian Gastronomic Club, invite you on Tuesday, June 13, at 5:00 p.m., to a picnic in nature with Transylvanian food, a concert of Transylvanian blues and outdoor film.
The event will take place in the “ROMULUS VUIA” NATIONAL ETHNOGRAPHIC PARK.
The picnic is offered by the Tranylvanian Gastronomic Club, after which the concert by the Nightlosers (ethno-blues) and Trio Ardealul will follow. Participants are invited to watch a funny documentary film: Vultures from the Country, which was awarded at the Astra Film Festival for directing in 2022. The film has English subtitles.

Children up to the age of 7 have free access.
The event is organized as part of TIFF (22nd edition), the largest film festival in Romania, which takes place between June 9-18 in Cluj (UNESCO City of Film).
Program details:
- Food cooked with passion by the Transylvanian Gastronomic Club
- The NIGHTLOSERS sing Transylvanian blues, an ethno-blues built as a postmodern musical display, in which the serious chords of the American blues are seasoned with ethno-Romanian or Hungarian interventions.
- Trio Ardealul is composed of: Emil Mihaiu — probably the best violinist in the Gherla area, Zenu Zanc — plays the “braci” or viola, Pusztai Aladár — plays the “gorduna” or double bass.
- VULTURES FROM ȚAGA (dir. Adina Popescu, Iulian Ghervase, 2022). Producer: Wearebasca.
Its team loses match after match, but Nelu, the manager of a football club in a Transylvanian village, does not give up. After each defeat, he starts all over again, because his passion for football gives him meaning in life.
