The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution operating under the authority of the Cluj County Council, invites you on Thursday, February 9, from 5 p.m., to the opening of the exhibition “Behind the scenes of the restoration and conservation of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography heritage”.
The exhibition was designed and organized by the specialists and experts of the Museum’s Restoration and Conservation Laboratory.
The exhibition’s unique presentation will help you get behind the scenes of restoration and conservation activities and the challenges faced by specialists. Some artifacts presented have been saved from irreversible degradation. You will learn what it means to monitor and ensure optimal long-term storage conditions.
The exhibition can be visited between February 9-26, 2023, at the institution’s headquarters: Reduta Palace, 21, Memorandum street, from Wednesday - Sunday, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., last entry at 5 p.m.
