Year 2020 has unmistakably drawn our attention to the importance of scientific research, coherent education, solidarity between people, the beauty and importance of traveling, the necessary balance both in society and in nature.
The Brickenburg Winter Exhibition, a traditional event for LEGO hobbyists, hosted as usual by the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography in Cluj-Napoca, wishes to bring these aspects to the visitors’ attention in the 2021 edition, via the thematic of the exhibited works.
By use of imagination, visitors of all ages will be able to travel to the world of coral reefs, become submarine archaeologists, venture into interplanetary expeditions, or have the opportunity to imagine themselves as engineers, doctors, teachers, reporters, bakers, farmers, etc., lots of professions and trades which are fundamental for a normal daily life, being rendered in LEGO(R) elements by the members of the Brickenburg Association. Some works have been previously exposed in international exhibitions, being noticed by the press in the field, while others are brought to the public’s attention for the first time.
