THE GATES OF REMEMBRANCE, maybe MEMORY, is the idea of the painting exhibition signed by Margareta Catrinu. The eternal memory, an opportunity for plastic meditation with evocative aspirations of sunny places from childhood years, of mysterious fortresses in Bucovina or Transylvania, of a Cluj full of history...
In the context of old family photos or traditional costumes from the Muscel of childhood, the memory becomes unitary and meaningful culturally and emotionally. Landscapes with singularized mountains or trees are also memory, effigies of existence in time, in times ... An opportunity for liberation, for adaptation to the dynamic and surprising present that determines memories as a creative universe.
