The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution operating under the authority of the Cluj County Council, invites you on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023, between 5-7 p.m., to “Gala 216: Medicine, art, culture”. The event is organized by the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in partnership with the Romanian Academy Cluj-Napoca Branch, the Romanian Academy of Scientists - Cluj Transylvania Leaders Branch and the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography.
Lectures will be held by Mr. Tudor Sălăgean (the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography manager) – the Ethnographic Museum - 100 years of activity, Mr. Şerban Turcuș (Prof. Dr. Babeș-Bolyai University) – The place of the Ethnographic Museum in the history of Transylvania. In the last part of the event, there will be a concert performed by Ioan Bocșa and the Romanian Traditional Music Ensemble “Icons” (conductors: university professor Dr. Ioan Bocșa, instructor: university lecturer Dr. Alina Stan).
The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Nicolae Hâncu and it will take place in the Reduta room of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography (21, Memorandum street).
