The aim of this exhibition is to promote the traditional techniques of textile arts and student artistic creation.
Art in general, but especially decorative arts are an ideal means not only to preserve crafts traditions, but also a means to integrate them into the modern man life. Through art, ancient techniques such as weaving or felting find their place and applicability both in the field of interior design, through various textiles for decorating spaces, and in the field of clothing design where traditional techniques of textile fiber and yarn processing can be used to create unique textures that add value to the clothing textile object.
The works presented in the exhibition are made in the technique of weaving, in the needle- felting technique and in mixed textile art techniques, being an expression of the contemporary possibilities to approach these techniques.
