Ethnologia Galactica 2026
LEGO® Fan Week
As every year, the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnographic is pleased to invite you, in collaboration with the Brickenburg Association, to the traditional Ethnologia Galactica exhibition from September 30 to October 4. This exhibition is dedicated to fans of the LEGO® system, as well as to anyone who is curious to explore the captivating worlds built from the famous bricks or captured by photographers.
Impressive and modest works of admirable complexity, created from well-known LEGO® bricks, as well as works in the field of Toy Photo, created by members of the Brickenburg (Romania), LUG Kolege (Serbia), Fotografia Construttiva (Italy) and RoLUG (Romania) communities, will take the public on imaginary journeys suitable for all ages.
The works and collections featured in the exhibition cover a wide range of building styles and themes, with subjects ranging from a fascinating history of LEGO trains—from the vintage models of the 1960s to the present day— chivalric adventures in medieval-style settings, exotic urban areas, and many surprises waiting to be discovered.
The “Ethnologia Galactica – LEGO® Fan Week” exhibition, organized by the Brickenburg Association in collaboration with the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, is included in the official calendar of events organized by recognized LEGO Fan Collab communities and is one of the most important events of its kind in Europe.
The LEGO® building workshop will be open to the public throughout the exhibition. Young visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in the traditional speed-building contest on Sunday, October 4.
We would like to remind visitors that exhibits must not be touched. The LEGO® System pieces provided for play are intended for children over the age of five. Please note that pieces and structures may not be taken home. Parents or accompanying adults are responsible for supervising children.
Visitors are also asked not to bring LEGO sets, creations or minifigures into the exhibition area.
