We warmly welcome you to the Museum. To help ensure that your visit is safe and enjoyable, please comply with the following regulations.
1. Access
1.1 Access to the Museum requires a ticket priced according to the rates displayed. However, different ticket prices may apply for some temporary exhibitions or events.
1.2 Guided tours are available at an additional cost, as shown on the price list. Guidance is provided by specialist staff, as supervisors are not responsible for this area.
1.3 We may occasionally need to change the Museum’s opening hours or close certain sections. If this is the case, Museum staff will inform you before you purchase your admission ticket.
2. Visiting hours
2.1 The Museum’s exhibitions are open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that the Museum’s opening hours may be subject to change for temporary exhibitions or events.
3. Food and beverages
3.1 No food or drinks are allowed in the exhibition areas.
4. Animal access
4.1 Animals are not allowed in the Museum, except for guide dogs specially trained to assist people with disabilities.
5. Closed-circuit television
5.1 Please be aware that we use closed-circuit television throughout the Museum to ensure the security of our patrimony and the safety of visitors.
6. Wardrobe and luggage
6.1 No luggage exceeding 30x40x50 cm is allowed in the Museum, except for folding strollers or mobility aids for disabled visitors.
6.2 Please leave your umbrellas in the designated area by the exhibition entrance.
6.3 We are not responsible for any personal belongings left unattended.
7.Înregistrarea audio, video și fotografiatul
7.1 The use of flash photography and video cameras with lights (including those on mobile phones) is not permitted. Any photographs, video or audio recordings made for a fee may only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes.
7.2 Should you require special lighting or other equipment for filming, photography or audio recording in the Museum, you must obtain written consent from the institution’s management.
7.3 Using films and photographs for professional or commercial purposes requires a contract.
8. Health and safety
For health and safety reasons, the following are not permitted:
8.1 Smoking inside the Museum. Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas of the inner courtyard.
8.2 Running through the Museum, especially on the stairs and in exhibition spaces.
8.3 Blocking access routes in any way.
8.4 Sitting on stairs or exhibition modules.
8.5 Leaving children unattended or allowing them to misbehave.
8.6 Touching exhibited artefacts and auxiliary materials used to display them.
8.7 Ignoring safety signs or barriers.
8.8 Ignoring the fire alarm or any evacuation instructions.
9. Fire alarm
9.1 There are alarm buttons located throughout the exhibition area. Pressing one of these buttons will trigger the fire alarm. Evacuation plans are also in place.
9.2 If the alarm sounds, you must evacuate the Museum immediately via the nearest fire exit. Our staff will direct you out of any area affected by fire. Should you require assistance with evacuation, please ask a staff member.
10. Access to non-public areas
10.1 If our staff find you in a non-public or closed area without authorization, you will be asked to explain why you are there and to prove your identity. You will also be escorted off the Museum premises.
11. Vehicle parking and reserved spaces for visitors with disabilities
11.1 We only offer parking spaces for disabled people.
12. Bicycles
12.1 Bicycles are not permitted inside the Museum.
12.2 You may leave your bicycle in the racks provided on the pavement outside the Museum, but you do so at your own risk.
13. Staff serving the public
13.1 Our staff can be identified by their uniforms or ID cards. They are authorized to ask you to comply with these regulations. If necessary, they can escort you off the Museum premises.
13.2 If you cause inconvenience to other visitors or endanger the Museum or its collections, you will be denied Museum access or asked to leave, and the relevant authorities will be notified. Please note that the destruction or damage of cultural property is a criminal offence punishable by the law in force.
13.3 We do not tolerate violent or insulting behavior towards any of our staff members.
14. Consideration for other visitors
14.1 The Museum can sometimes get very busy. Please be patient and respectful to other visitors.
14.2 Please ensure that your mobile phones are set to silent mode in the exhibition areas.
