The Brickenburg Association in cooperation with the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography organise the exhibition “Galactic Ethnology” between May, 30 and June, 5, a challenge by which this game stimulates the imagination and the creative spirit. The exhibition theme is inspired from the fantasy literature and science fiction, proposing to create a bridge between the new generation and the traditional cultural values by exploring the imaginary universes. Being at its fifth edition, the event brings together participants from Romania and Serbia, members of the Lego Community. The works exhibited contain millions of pieces assembled in large size compositions, offering a route that starts in the dinosaur era and continue to the cosmic space exploration. One of the main attractions of the event is represented by the space alien base transposed in Lego way. The temporary exhibition could be visited within the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, located on Memorandum Street no. 21, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday, 1st of June, on the occasion of the International Day of Children, the children and young people till 18 years old would have free access. The only fee for entrance during the exhibition is 3 lei.
