The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, public cultural institution functioning under the authority of the Cluj County Council, in partnership with the Cluj Craftsmen’s Association, invite you to the 3rd edition of the fair of local craftsmen and producers from Cluj, who will meet again in the Ethnographic Park, at the event “People, people ... Come to the market!”
The event will take place between June 23-27, 2021, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., the last entry at 5 p.m.
You will be able to buy traditional clothing, ornaments and decorations made from beads, jewelry made from semi-precious stones, clay pots, natural soaps, paintings, icons, leather articles and wooden household items, children toys and knitwear, traditional bags and many other handicrafts.
You will also be able to buy delicious snacks, homemade chocolate, ice cream, marmalade and jam (including sugarfree), medicinal and aromatic plants, cheese and wine, bee honey and gingerbread, lavender, vegetables and fruits, natural juices and syrups, ‘zacusca’ and meat preparations.
Over 60 craftsmen and producers from the Association’s eight guilds will exhibit in the Ethnographic Park. Several creative workshops will be organized there.
The entrance ticket to the Ethnographic Park is 6 lei for adults, 3 lei for retired persons and students, and 1.50 for pupils and preschoolers.
Due to the situation generated by COVID-19 and the limitations imposed by the fight against this pandemic, we would kindly ask you to wear a mask in crowded areas, to respect physical distancing and to use disinfectants provided to you by craftsmen.
