Starting with 1st of May 2013, the visiting program in the National Ethnographical Park “Romulus Vuia”, the open-air section of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., last entry at 4 p.m., from Tuesday to Sunday. Opened in 1929, the National Ethnographical Park “Romulus Vuia” is the oldest outside ethnographic museum in Romania and one of the first museums in Europe. The Ethnographic Park has in present 15 ha, in which there are exhibited over 50 monuments and objectives representative to all Transylvania, divided in two main sectors: 1) technical installations and workshops; 2) zone types of farmsteads and monuments of traditional architecture. Between 1st and 6th of May, the Ethnographic Park (Taietura Turcului Street, no number) will be opened as follows: May 1, 2, 3 – opened May 4, 5, 6 – closed The Indoor Section (Memorandum Street no. 21) will be opened as follows: May 2, 3 – opened May 1, 4, 5, 6 – closed Beginning with 7th of May, both sections of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography will be opened from Tuesday to Sunday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (for the Ethnographic Park – last entry at 4 p.m.)
