The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution operating under the authority of the Cluj County Council, in partnership with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hațieganu”, the Romanian Academy Cluj-Napoca Branch and the Academy of Romanian Scientists - Cluj Transilvania Leaders Branch, invite you on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, between 5-7 pm, to Gala 217. Medicine, Art, Culture.
Under the title of “History and Tradition”, lectures will be given by Prof. Dr. Ioan Bolovan (a correspondent member of the Romanian Academy): “At the origins of Avram Iancu’s heroism: Iosif Vulcan and Familia magazine” and Prof. Dr. Radu Radosav (Babeș-Bolyai University): “Transylvania has the shape of the heart”. The artistic moment will be performed by Ioan Bocșa and the Romanian Traditional Music Ensemble ICOANE (coordinator: Prof. Ioan Bocșa, instructor: Prof. Alina Stan). Moderator: Prof. Nicolae Hâncu.
The event will take place in the Reduta Hall of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography.
