The Transylvania Museum of Ethnography, a public cultural institution that functions under the authority of the Cluj County Council, in collaboration with the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, the Bistrița-Năsăud Emergency County Clinical Hospital, the “George Emil Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology from Târgu Mureș, and the Cluj Center for Indian Studies of Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca, invite you on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., to the conference Some doctors in India.
The event will be supported by Prof. Dr. Andrei Daniel Mihalca and Dr. Răzvan Couți and it will take place in the Reduta Hall of the Transylvania Museum of Ethnography (21, Memorandum street).
The conference brings to the public part of the experiences of the two doctors in their Indian journey, the meetings they had and the experiences that marked them and represented starting points for future research and collaborations. In addition to the professional aspects, the two doctors will talk about other unique experiences and their passions or wildlife photography.

Andrei Daniel Mihalca is a professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca and Vice-Rector of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca. He was recently included among the best scientists in the world. In addition to performance research, Prof. Mihalca is passionate about photography and he is the author of an album that brings together the most beautiful photos from his expeditions through Africa.
Răzvan Couți is a urologist at the Bistrița-Năsăud Emergency County Clinical Hospital, associate professor at UMFST and passionate about travelling and minimally invasive oncological medicine with international collaborations in different countries (Poland, Benin, India).
