Dear visitors,

Both our museum sections will be closed on Thursday, August 15, 2024 (the Assumption – national holiday).

However, we are back from August 16, with the same visit schedule in both locations (Memorandumului and Tăietura Turcului streets): 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., last entry at 5 p.m., from Wednesday to Sunday.

We are waiting for you in the “Romulus Vuia” Ethnographic Park for a walk among the open-air museum objectives: peasant technical installations in the first sector, next to workshop houses, and in the second sector households from the ethnographic areas of Transylvania. You can also visit 3 wooden churches, the first being known as Horea’s Church.

At the Reduta Palace section, in addition to the permanent and the tactile exhibitions, you can also visit the exhibition: MEMORANDUM OF ROMANIANS FROM TRANSYLVANIA AND THE CLUJ TRIAL. (1892-1894) – 130 YEARS (open until September 22, 2024) and the exhibition Călata Area – seen by painter Edvi Illés Aladár (open until August 25).
